AUP is highly concerned on gender balance and equality. It has considered gender balance and equality in all level of the organization. In general council and executive committee it ensured gender equality. It is also needs to add that among the total staff almost 50% are female. So, it has attained the gender equality regarding staff recruitment. Further, among the beneficiaries, more than 80% are female. Therefore, finally it can be opined that the organization attained the gender balance and equality at all level of the organization.

The Organization has complete Administrative Rules in the Human Resources Manual that depicts all the issues of Management.
Human Resources Management
AUP has its own system for human resource management. Each of the staff has job description and work following the jobs responsibilities mentioned in job description. The job description guides the staff and help to understand their role and responsibilities. In order to track the performance of the management staff prepare the project plan on quarterly basis by taking activities from Annual implementation plan. Following the quarterly plan, at the beginning of each month all the staff prepare individual activity plan and work accordingly. The management staff and supervisor conduct monitoring and supervision following the plan. However, it can be said that the AUP an effective mechanism for human resource management exist in the organization.
